1962 Piper Cherokee 160 Very nice Piper Cherokee 160 New paint, new interior
This is the perfect time builder or VFR cross-country airplane. Times are approximate since I do fly this plane almost weekly... TT 3760 SMOH. 730. Dual nav coms, and a panel mounted Garmin 296 over $25,000 worth of work done in the last few years including new paint in 2011 and new tan leather interior. This plane is clean and comfortable for the longest flights. With 50 gal fuel tanks and these nice seats you can go the distance. Generally I get between 6.7 and 8.5 gph. The last annual was preformed in June 2013. This plane is flown several times a month on short 2-3 hour cross countries. I am selling only because my mission has changed dramatically and I need something a little bit faster. I Will consider trades for a well equipped IFR Cessna 182 with auto pilot and Garmin 430 or 530 or something similar.. The plane is hangered. Please note the log books only go back to 2008. They were stolen in a flight bag that was left in the plane overnight. The logs were recreated and certified by the mechanic that had been maintaining the plane for several years at the time.
Some additional features:
Very Bright LED landing light
Wingtip NAV and anti collision lights.
Speed mods like gap seals
Head set jacks in the back
Wheel pants that look brand new
Nice size luggage area
Ready to fly today... no work needed this is not some old hanger rat she is a real work horse for me!
